Über den Anlass
Swami Omkarananda's whole life was a stirring lecture! People flocked to him. Even though his words often cannot be comprehended, it is the love in them that people absorb, that attracts them, it is the longing for God for which they have become mature. And Swami Omkarananda's words satisfy their spiritual hunger.
He himself commented:
"None of my speeches, in whatever important place, are prepared. I speak as if by myself, without knowing beforehand what I am going to say. It just comes pouring out, according to the people I am speaking to. Inspiration is normal and natural for me. I am in God, surrounded by God, so you have the wonderful opportunity to hear the voice of truth directly, just as truth itself speaks."
