About the Ashram
In response to more than a decade of entreaties by numerous spiritual seekers to come to Europe,
Swami Omkarananda finally left India in 1965 to found an ashram in Switzerland known today as
Omkarananda International Ashram. Since then his institutions have been established in many different lands.
The ashram represents the universal values of Sanatana Dharma and the Srividya tradition.
Every act of life
is a step closer to the Truth,
because the Truth
is the joyful abode of all beings.
Into It all enter and find in It
perfect fulfillment and
supreme peace.
